For those of you wondering what my religious/spiritual beliefs are, the Church I belong to, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, just published this cute image (just click to view larger image), a Mormonism 101 of sorts, if you're curious it may answer some questions about the religion, or click HERE for more info on the Church, or HERE for how my faith has helped me personally in my life.
I wanted to see what blog posted these wonderful quotes from Pres Hinckley and his wife. My friends who probably don't know who they are pinned them on pinterest. Which I thought was pretty neat. And as I read the other inspiring things you have posted I came across this one. And now I smile more because I am sure you love the Hinckleys as much as I do. And if I would have looked at your buttons on the side, that I am just now noticing, I would've seen you are Mormon earlier. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your comments on my blog. It is small and nobody reads it but me. :) I just like to keep a record of what I create. If I don't take a picture I forget about it, and can't show others examples of what I can do for them. The paintings disappear into thin air once they leave my house. Or at least that is how it feels. And then I get sad that I am not painting anymore. But the record helps me to realize that as fun (and crazy) as it is to be a mom, I still have a piece of me, that's just me, that still exists. Which makes me a better mom.
Are your quotes ones that you gather and then add the graphics to? They are really beautiful and EVERYWHERE on pinterest. You uplift so many people, including myself. I had a few already before I looked you up after the Hinckley quotes. And I actually wrote a few down and sent it to a friend who is going through chemo to lift her up. "Have I done any good in the world today?" Yes, my friend, you sure have. :)
This is incredibly cool! Thanks for sharing this. I may post it on my blog, too. :)
