Tuesday Tell All - Heroes

The 11th is Veteran's day (or Remembrance day in the UK).

Do you have any family or friends who have served your country, or any stories you can share? What are your feelings about this day, do you have any family traditions? Who are the heroes in your life who have sacrificed for you?

Parental Responsibilities

"While other institutions, such as church and school, can assist parents to 'train up a child in the way he should go' ultimately this responsibility rests with parents."

Mothering in Moments

"Families need unstructured time when relationships can deepen and real parenting can take place. Take time to listen, to laugh, and to play together. The joy of motherhood comes in moments."

Thankful Tree idea
Just make with tree branches, then add little leaves with things you are thankful for throughout the month. So cute.

Kindness

"Be one who nurtures and who builds. Be one who has an understanding and a forgiving heart, who looks for the best in people. Leave people better than you found them. If we could look in to each other's hearts and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently."
Marvin J. Ashton

Tuesday Tell All - Foods

To find out what Tuesday Tell all is, click HERE

So what are some of your favorite foods, and what foods can't you stand. How have you tastes changed over the years?

For me I'm currently pregnant with baby #3, and am craving brussell sprouts, odd but true. There are two foods I hate: Shrimp (they looks like babies fingers or embryo's), and Olives (messed up grapes). Aside from that I love, or can tolerate anything else. I used to hate sweetcorn, mushrooms, parsnips, and eggplant would make me gag, but I love those things now. Maybe there's hope for my kids yet......
